In Feng Shui prevalent China, people seem to draw support from certain mysterious powers to change their current situations, sometimes even their fates. Such phenomenon has caused us to think deeply. A foreign colleague has simpler understanding of Feng Shui: ancient Chinese Taoist priests would determine the housing directions according to Feng Shui. Feng Shui is the law of various mysterious powers that flow between heaven and earth which later became the basic principles for the harmonious coexistence of artificial constructions and natural environment. Feng Shui determines the building sites, plans, decorations and even colors. The mysterious Feng Shui principles seem to be filled with ancient Chinese animistic religious views, but in fact it is originated from some simple and practical knowledge to cope with Chinese climates.
